postulate away as to where new "anything" fits into the "current 
photographic scheme of things."

I will continue to read your and other's "postulations" (wonderful word).

Postulating and real world testing remain distinctly different pursuits.

Whenever the postulations deny the veracity of the actual in-use testing,
reporting and visual examples; I'll go with the in-use reporting and 
examples.
