technological failures feel lousy and appear so damn expensive.

solutions? so damn personal.
Hard for me to imagine doing without an M.
I have not walked out of the house without one since I was 19 years old.
Yet when my M8 fails - I can't imagine where the money will come from to 
replace it.
(still trying to pay off the heart attack co-pay)
The computers are getting old and flaky.

I'm thinking pencils, brushes, paper, canvas, wood, chisels;
and tools that can be fixed with screwdrivers and wrenches.
