By the time you read this, you should've gotten my previous post on the scanning. But, if it helps, I use the sliders in Bridge RAW to optimize the Tiffs, then open in PS5 and spot the (thankfully few) dust specks, maybe tweak some more then save as a replacement Tiff. Some slides needed more treatment. On the Isle of Man rockers, I darkened the leather of the jackets with the burn tool because when the faces looked good, the leather was just very dark gray, and some banding showed. I suppose using layers might make things easier, but I never really learned how to do them.
