In program mode it was slightly faster, .63 seconds. ==================================== I have the same camera Larry. I didn't really notice much lag at first because I used Program mode from the start, and also because I habitually prefocus. When I added a 20mm Lumix 1.7, though, the lag became quite noticeable, especially in bright sunlight (much quicker in dim light). I recently acquired a Canon G15 and lag is now much less of an issue, and the G is now my carry-everywhere cam. -- Phil Swango 307 Aliso Dr SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 505-262-4085
