Easy enough , the next "M" will be an "M", just a 
different type number, same applies to the S (which 
follows on from an S2, just to confuse matters even 
more:-) ).

Leica have indeed said that the naming system works 
like that of the Porsche 911 - which is always a 911, 
just different:-)

The Leica M Monochrom is the Leica M Monochrom - and 
they get very angry if you add an "e" at the end of it.
