[Leica] Canon doesn't see it quite like Mark

I think the amazing resolution a Leica lens gives you is still viable.
Because its giving you more information. Information you can pick and choose
from for the final image. And that's always been the case anyway. You never
get in a print what's there in a negative.

I think that even with a small file and from for instance from a Pentax
K1000 optic or other perhaps less than inspiring non premium optic being non
differentiated from a top price Leica spread because of the scanning and
inkjetting being in a different resolution level than darkroom printing;
I beg to differ; as there's a concept called down sampling and its in audio
as well as visual.
The sample which is low rez. A small print or an inkjet normal sized print
is a slice of the information availed to it in a negative and or digital
file. Or higher rez audio recording.
And the more information you have to start with the better the not as high
as you'd like rez image file or print ends up looking.

Say in music when your CD player only goes to 16 bit but they record it in
21 bit anyway because they have more information to choose from. I'm not
sure about the numbers on that any more.

No you don't end up hearing 21 bit but the 16 bits you do hear in the end
sound way better when it starts out in 21.

And I said that three different ways so I hope its clear.
