You spend 1 minute per image doing whatever you do to images to put them on Shutterstock...... That includes initial exposure, computer download, image correction/manipulation, and uploading to Shutterstock. After 60,000 downloads by paying clients and 1,000 hours of your time, and your equipment is paid for.....which is good because your camera wore out.....and you need to go buy another..... What's to argue with? OTOH.... You are unemployed. You spend your time drinking beer ( or getting loaded), playing video games ( or doing Facebook things) , belching, and watching reruns of The Love Boat. You have only 1 appointment each month: the Unemployment Office. Which of these is so important you can not go out and do a little work? Frank Filippone (totally and completely tongue in cheek) Red735i at verizon.net *10. Sell your photos to stock agencies* It doesn't matter if you're a hobbyist, an amateur or a seasoned photographer - anyone can submit their photos to stock photo agencies like Shutterstock.com. <http://shutterstock.com/?cnn=yes> If your images are accepted, they will be available for download by subscribers. Each time someone downloads your photos, you get 25 cents. Too depressing. If they had any idea how expensive it is to produce photos and how long it takes to prepare them for submission and how seldom they actually sell, no one would use this method for extra income at 25 cents a download!!
