The problem is that a lot of pre-orders are duplicates or worse. The buyer wants one badly, so put his name down for a camera in 2,3, or more stores. After all, (usually) it will cost him nothing if he cancels the orders after he receives his camera. I hope it is a good camera, and that they concentrate on getting the high ISP performance as good as Nikon. It is a firmware issue, and being part of the S family ( same processor) it may be possible, if they get their act together. The real issue is if they WANT to get that noise performance up there..... If you can use ISO 256K, what need is there for a Noctilux? An Elmar would work as well....... As I have always said, they make money on glass, not on mechanical things......
