Subject: [Leica] Seen along the way………

The boat boat tied up on the right side of Drum Point Light is a Skipjack, a
traditional workboat unique to the Chesapeake Bay. Once there were hundreds
of them on the Bay. With the collapse of the Bay's echo system and the
marked decline in the crab and oyster population very few Skipjacks are
left. I have heard numbers as low as two or three dozen.
