[Leica] Gun Control; Now Mental Illness

My daughter used to work with homeless people. Now she works with the 
mentally ill. She is a big hearted girl and I am very proud of her. I could 
not do it.
She told me that the largest group of homeless people in the UK are the 
mentally ill.
During the Thatcher years it was decided to release mentally ill patients 
who were not considered dangerous into "care in the community". Those 
without family to look after them ended up on the streets sleeping rough.
This was done to reduce spending, to presumably pay for tax cuts for her 
supporters.
A good use of the money? I don't think so.
