A nation that celebrates as a "right" the ownership and use of firearms (in
most other civilized states this is a "wrong") while also pumping out
countless television programs and cinema films that celebrate slaughter by
gun (and even elects politicians who play gun-wielding slaughterers to its
highest offices) will continue to see death orgies like yesterday's.

>From Wounded Knee to My Lai, from John Wayne to Tarantino to Schwarzenegger,
America loves its gun-toting killers. The medium is the message.

Are any of you surprised? Methinks you protest too much.
