You and many others have apparently taken the camera makers' story hook, line and sinker that their manufacturing tolerances are perfectly acceptable and that microfocus adjustment is actually lemonade. Better is possible, but apparently you've voted with your rupees and told them cheaper is most important. I'm voting with my currency too. The mainstream camera makers are perfectly capable of doing better but the won't until camera users tell them to.
