I love the Staggerwing pictures too.  

I wish I had been thinking straight last August when I took photos of a P-38 
and an F-22 Raptor.  I set aperture priority to get a speed that would 
minimize camera shake, but I forgot about the propellors, so this picture is 
pretty lame.

My focusing was none too sterling, either.
