May have something to do with my concept!" Of course this is correct. One of the things I do when I get a new (or new to me) camera is take it out and shoot, then I shoot some more, then I shoot some more. I usually stick with one lens on those outing, sometimes the 50mm Summicron, but or often a 35mm Summicron. Regardless, I shoot until I don't have to think about the camera or the lens. The M9, and M8 before it, and the M7 before it, and the M6 before that got that way. One of the problems for me with DSLR cameras is not the shutter lag, (I can get used to that) but that I have to think about what to do to make the camera "think for itself". I keep thinking about that 1/15th of a second I think John reported, and I really don't think it takes the camera that long to get moving after I press the shutter. Maybe, but if it does, I'm accustomed to it, and it doesn't register in my head as lag. I was using someone's Kodak point and shoot with flash the other night. Now THERE'S shutter lag! -- Regards, Sonny http://sonc.com/look/ Natchitoches, Louisiana USA
