Shot at Pumkin Chunkin, an event in rural DE.  The stated purpose of this
event is to hurl pumpkins as far as possible, using a variety of
devices?ranging from slingslots to cannons (I?m not kidding?the field
looked as though it were filled with some semi-serious ordnance.)  The
unstated purpose is to drink as much inexpensive beer as possible, while
not freezing.  It?s probably the one time of the year when I?m at an event
where folks are literally and figuratively out of their gourds.  Naturally,
I had a wonderful time and met some kindred spirits.
