If that were true then I intuitively feel that the film is "moving" from "tensioned" to relaxed; and I'd think that not a good thing. I'd rather have the film "settled." yet - who knows? The only 6 x 17 I ever shot was on a rented Linhof for a weekend party; many years ago; great fun.
