Nice photo of the ornament.

Coincidentally, I went out for a motorcycle ride at twilight and came upon 
this (also a DeSoto), but it doesn't have that same one:

Earlier today I grabbed a shot through the windshield of our Toyota, but the 
combination of glass and hasty focusing (with an old manual zoom) gave me a 
soft image.
I tried to make it a little presentable with posterization.
