Me thinks you are talking about something you have no experience of. Those 
who have the Monochrom (or have actually looked at the DNG files) know that 
they cannot get the same detail and tonality from a converted colour file.

The point of the camera is not less post processing. Its not to get people 
off the hook and this pesky black and white conversion thing. Which can be 
done in about twenty seconds. But twenty seconds too long for some lets 
spend 8 grand to avoid it!
