As the seminar wrap session? Were there instructions / teaching from Peter before you all went out on your own? Did you see a large teaching portfolio of his work to enhance the inspiration before you started. Or were you told to just go out on your own and shoot "the Streets of Paris?" The most effective aspect of a "LEARNING" seminar with whomever you are attending....... is the inspiration creating vibes illustrating the lecturers images as a goal to attempt to shoot much better images and the challenge is always..... "kick his/her butt with your own material! " "YOU SHOULD ALL GO OUT THE DOOR WITH AN ATTITUDE TO SHOW NO MERCY! TAKE NO PRISONERS WITH YOUR RESULTS AND SHOOT THE INSTRUCTORS ASS OFF~ YOU MAY NOT DO IT...... BUT THAT ISN'T THE POINT! YOU SHOULD BE SO INSPIRED WHEN YOU GO OUT? YOU HAVE NO DOUBT YOU ARE GOING TO KICK ASS WITHOUT QUESTION~ And if you don't approach a teaching/learning session to out shoot everybody else and leave them gasping in admiration seeing your images on the screen! Then why bother and just carry on shooting Friday flowers! And without question, a major over all critique of a selected number of images from each attendee "IS A MUST! OTHER WISE, HOW DO YOU LEARN? CERTAINLY PAYING THE AMOUNT OF TRAVEL AND ATTENDANCE FEE! THE TEACHING AND CRITIQUE AS TOUGH AS CAN BE IS MANDATORY OR YOU'VE JUST THROWN AWAY A GREAT PILE OF MONEY AND LEARNED DAMN LITTLE. If this didn't occur how did anyone know whether they had done good, bad or ugly? Something that could not be said about the "Cape Cod Leica International Seminar!!" Any year during my 16 years of teaching and critiquing. And if any of the CREW should be interested? The same seminar will and is being produced, but only in a new and photo challenging location in Sister Bay, Wisconsin Oct. 18 -19 -20 Great line up of teachers, photo taking locations abound everytime you turn around sunrise to sunset. CONTACT: James G. Baker Jnr. 414-378-4278 ambulancer at wi.rr.com You wont be sorry because you will go home completely wired to be trying all the new things and techniques! You can't go wrong and if you've never been through this part of the USA or even been here you will be-blown away.
