The cliffs are amazing - with every little ledge occupied by birds breeding, hundreds of thousands of them. The sheer inaccessibility of the cliffs makes it a very safe place for breeding - most land based predators like the Arctic Fox cannot get near most of the ledges. This cliff is particularly good for photography because even the ledges at sea level are occupied. We took a zodiac cruise along the base of these cliffs, and most if not all of the photographs are taken from the zodiac.
