Indeedy you're right Sonny, but the real problem is the actual cycling. 
Bloody awkward to cycle that yoke as the distance from the saddle seat to 
the bottom point of the pedal stroke is tiny. Normal people's knees would 
pop after a 100 yards! Then again maybe that's the distance between his home 
and the bar.....




This style started out as the juvenile auxiliary to the Los Angeles Low 
Rider auto clubs... kids (usually the younger brothers of the car club 
members) who were too young to drive could mod their bikes.? This is a 
pretty good example of the species.

The grownups picked up on it afterward, and ridability isn't much of a 
concern - they aren't really intended to be ridden except in parades and 
shows.

If I'm reading the paint right that's "El Gordo" - which may be the owner's 
nickname as well.
