No, of course not, but it's no longer just for "people who don't know the bestest." I don't use an iPhone/phone for photos, nor do I use an iPad for editing (I purposefully bought the lightest laptop that was still fast enough a couple years ago when needed to get a replacement), but these options should not be rejected out of hand. Everything is a tradeoff and the quality that these tools can produce can be staggering. The reason is simple - just like the oft-mentioned reasons why the color films got so much better or why even the crop sensor cameras are so good nowadays, companies see this is where the money is at and they throw engineering resource to make things as good as possible, so improvements are real. -- // richard <http://www.richardmanphoto.com>
