Cartier-Bresson in Paris, where the archive of the photographer is
conserved, stated yesterday:
It is absolutely wrong, there are no other negatives and no contact
sheets in this period as HCB destroyed many things before war. What is
true is what is in the Scrapbook, the non-cropped image.
FHCB originated the Scrapbook show and supplied its contents, all its
material and images.
