Looking at the MTF curves, very fine detail especially in the corners is where the 50mm AA is likely to better the 50mm Summilux asph - at what enlargement factor I do not know ;-) john -----Original Message----- I wish some of these tests were conducted with something other than the new whiz-bang 50/2.0. I assume most of us use a small spectrum of focal lengths, which won't even be available in steroidal, bank breaking versions in the near future. More useful (for me, anyway) would be one (or both) of the current (or even classic) 1.4's: 35 & 50mm. The M9 vs Mono race might be more of a dead heat if ordinary Leica glass is used.
