The profusion of different > models leaves me dizzy... Without doubt Really Right Stuff is the best quick release system on the planet. I suspect their heads and tripods are also top shelf. If funds were not an issue - I'd go 100% RRS. I've used Gitzo my whole life. Good solid gear. Though I do not own any carbon fiber. I also have Bogen, Foba and Manfrotto; all fine quality.
