My mother-in-law's yartsite (marking of the day someone died) was four years ago today. Her name was Lillian. Unfortunately she hated lilies, but she presented me with this today. http://www.rgaphoto.com/fleur/content/L1000384-Edit-Edit_large.html This was taken with the noctilux. As you can see, the front of the flower (where I focused) is out of focus. When I bought the lens and the M9, the dealer sent the nocti in for coding and CLA. I asked the dealer's salesman to please send my new M in with the lens so that they could be matched. He insisted it wasn't necessary because if my new M was checked at the factory before shipping, it would perfectly match the M they were going to test the Nocti on. Twice I insisted; twice he said it wasn't necessary. He checked it before shipping it to me (after it was in NJ for 6 weeks) and said it was perfect. Obviously it's not. He is sending me a loaner M and 50 summicron while he sends my M and Nocti, again, to NJ. Also giving me attitude unfortunately. Oh well. Hopefully it will return in 6 weeks and with a happy ending... -- Bob Adler Redwood City, CA http://www.rgaphoto.com
