The downside to the Upstrap is exactly the same as the upside.... it won't 
slide off your shoulder.? Even if you're one of those folk (like me) who 
likes to be able to slip the strap when you bring the camera up, it won't 
come off clean, and when you DO get it lose, it turns into a fairly massive 
pendulum swinging off the camera, making steady that much harder to come by.

My recommendation is to see if you can find a friend who's GOT one and play 
with it before you fork over for them yourself. (Not cheap.)? They're VERY 
well made and worth the money if they suit your working style; I sold mine 
on about a week after it arrived because I just couldn't stand the thing.
