No, corruption here is more air tight and institutional. According to
today's NYT, our SEC has uncovered numerous examples of security fraud
by our largest banks so .... they re-write the regs to exempt the
banks from prosecution. While the fraud may now be transparent and
public, the regulators just decide to do nothing about it.
