The metate is the stone that she is > grinding the corn on. Hi Tina, Crop the top almost to touching her head! That large "white area of backlight" above is killing everything else. Your eyes almost lock there. Do it and the rest of the image opens up with greater effect everywhere. The inside shooting you've done over the years with these people, be it colour or B&W have always been of great interest simply because you don't get all rattled over the lighting and whining bitching about the quality of lenses. Like me...... you love to take pictures just for the love of doing it and capturing events as they are. The old KISS routine.... "SEE-SHOOT!" :-) Never mind all that techie crap! Do this little crop off the top and it makes all the difference! :-) cheers, ted
