Howard I really like the square crop best. That was my initial impression, 
then I dithered, then I went back to it again. I think the real test is to 
print them and put them up and see how they speak to you.

I suspect size will matter in how people react to these images. My 
inclination is to go as large as you can within the constraints of the file. 
Certainly I'd try the square image at 17 x 17.

I like these very much. You saw and captured a fine image.
