Subject: [Leica] (SPAM: ?) Leica M3 and M2 cameras are ticking time bombs?

I spent most of last night repairing an M3 that had its top felt light 
shield jammed into the shutter tape.

The lower light shield also fell out during the work.  The former glue 
was not stick at all.

Makes me think of what will happen to the population of M3 and M2 
cameras in say, the next 5 years.

e.g. skyrocketing proportion of jammed cameras.
