And I'm thankful for the joy of the Sierra and for Yosemite. This image is from our trip up Tioga Pass in early October. I know Bob Adler has found this same vantage point as compelling as I. The recent snow fall worked to reveal the textures and geometry of the facing granite cliff. I love the curves to the left of the columns and the curve of the canyon as it vanishes toward the east. I'm thankful for the opportunity to see scenes like this, wonderful cameras to capture it, great tools to render it, and a fine collection of people from all over the world who will look and offer suggestions and criticism and who share their own work to inspire and motivate. That's a lot to be thankful for. The image: <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/Landscapes/2011-Eastern-Sierra-and/19446304_NvM63K#1600211166_MR4cdQW> A composite of 6 frames from Leica M8 with a 50mm Sumicron, shot hand-held. Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop. The image is 12,000 pixels wide! printed 17" tall it's almost 72" wide. Comments, suggestions, etc most welcome. Joy! Adam Bridge
