I have hesitated buying one - given the bad reviews of the menus and operating system. A Singapore friend passed through HK a couple of weeks ago with one and I used it briefly. Had a chance to pick up a lightly used one - the present young owner didn't like the focus accuracy - and here are the first results. The camera was set for velvia. I didn't care for the garish colours so I have transformed the pictures into contrasty B&W using CS4. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/HKFall2011/HCB_amp_W1w.jpg.html > Me in the airport express station - taken by son-in-law Ian <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/HKFall2011/4PanManHwaBWw.jpg.html > The smokey Man Mo temple (built 1847) on Hollywood Road - a 4 panel pano stiched in CS4 <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/HKFall2011/HCB_amp_Ww.jpg.html > Me at Brunch today at Stauntons bar in Soho - also taken by Ian. The Bloody Mary was bloody spicy! Camera seems very competent - picture wise - if somewhat clumsy to set up. That will be over come, I'm sure, as I plough through the instruction book. C&C always welcome. Please look large. Howard
