Marty no dispute on the numbers from me of course. I guess that Leica Camera
judged that a 70mm was more useful for the S2's intended purposes
(fashion/studio)? Those probably aren't identical to those of legacy 35mm
SLR design thoughts.
The 70 certainly is superb on the S2 albeit the central shutter caused
delays and adds quite a bit more to the costs too.
I seem to remember someone from Solms candidly remarking that they wish they
hadn't mentioned a 30 in their roadmap as it proved to be much tougher than
they expected!
