Subject: [Leica] Canon 1D X - the real marker to the end of the mega-pixel wars?

Before my present Lumix / Nikon period I had first a Canon 1 D Mk II and
then a Canon 5D with a bag full of canon lenses.
I tested the my 24mm f1.4 Canon against my Leica R 28mm (ROM) f2.8 with the
5D - setting it on a tripod and shooting the HK skyline
at infinity with both lenses set at f2.8. At 100% view the corners of the 24
were mushy compared to the 28. For that, and a variety of
other reasons (dust) and difficulty of manual focusing, I drifted away from
Canon and back to Nikon - which had been my first good SLR
back in the early 70's. So, I agree 1000% with Miss Tina, basis my own
testing.
