Esther and I took 10,000 pictures in Kenya between us and now the task to sift these down to a precious few will take some time. Here is a start. On the first day we flew from Wilson airport in Nairobi to Samburu and in the afternoon saw our first lion. He was lazy. This fellow was unusual - male but without a mane. Here's Esther's take: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Kenya/SamburuLionYawnw.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/3j8dfkp and here is mine: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Kenya/WakingLionw.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/3gj6vcg My photo is a 3 panel pano taken with the GH2 and the 100 - 300 stitched together with CS4 The original is 31.7 MB and would produce a 11" X 29" print at 300 ppi. The equipment used by the group divided into Panasonics (Henning, Tanya, Esther and me) Nikons (everyone else except Helen and her trusty Olympus E3 - although sometimes she was using Alastair's D7000). C&C always welcome - please look large. Cheers Howard
