If this is only the second time you have activated you should be ok since you are allowed two computers per serial number. Probably Adobe has an FAQ on this somewhere on their website. If you can't find that try the user forum for Lightroom: http://forums.adobe.com/community/lightroom Their telephone support is at best hit or miss. I do know you can create an 'account' on the Adobe website then log in to get all your old serial numbers and a veritable walk down memory lane of the old versions you bought and registered. --Bob ==On Sat, Oct 1, 2011 at 11:05 AM, Phil Swango <pswango at att.net> wrote: > Need some help here, gang. ?I'm changing to a new laptop and want to > transfer LR from my old one. ?I just downloaded the latest LR version to > the > old unit yesterday, so I have the install file handy. ?Can I just run the > install file on the new computer, or is there something I have to do > (through Adobe) to make the transfer legit? ?My version of LR is totally > legal and registered so no worries there. > > Any help appreciated. >
