Tilly (our Border Terrier) had jumped into the car and was "singing" with delight that one of her favorite people had come to visit. The J-8 comes from a Zorki-4 that I inherited from a dear friend who is no longer with us. The camera is clunky and inconvenient, so I decided to just keep it as a memento. But the roll of film I shot with the Zorki showed that the lens is quite good. I recently decided to get the lens shimmed to work on a Leica. I just got it back. I like the Sonnar rendering for some things, and I feel a connection with my late friend when I use his lens. --Peter > That J-8 looks very sharp.
