Drove straight down to Lime Kiln State Park and, on a foggy day, enjoyed the vibrant "velvia" colors. This place had really recovered a lot from the Big Sur fires a few years ago: http://www.rgaphoto.com/coastal/content/JPBCreekPanoMASTER_large.html Had lunch and then started driving home up the coast, driving in and out of a heavy marine layer. The ice plant was just a glorious red and green with other flowers still in bloom: http://www.rgaphoto.com/coastal/content/AdamsReverseViewPanoMASTER_large.html Last stop was the view North from Rocky Point. The fog was being driven in by a strong wind so the light was almost gone for this one: http://www.rgaphoto.com/coastal/content/RockyPointBridge_PanoramaMASTER4x5_large.html All in all a gorgeous day; no hurricanes or earthquakes! Hope you enjoy. Comments and suggestions always appreciated, Bob Bob Adler Palo Alto, CA http://www.rgaphoto.com
