My everyday pen is a Waterman Phileas Coral Red, fine, that has been dropped
on its nib at least once and has a generic plastic tip pushed onto the lower
end to cover the threads where the end cap unscrewed and was lost. For my
serious writing I have a Shaeffer Balance Aspen Special Edition from 1999
that has my favorite fine nib, and is sooo pretty. I also have a Waterman
Carene with extra fine, shrouded nib, but this one always leaks into the
cap, so I can't trust it anymore. I'm using Quink.

Ever since my father was given a Shaeffer Snorkel in 1955, I've been fond of
fountain pens and Rapidographs (I used to do a lot of pen & ink drawings
before I got into photography). I have a box of miscellaneous old pens
that I found at rummage sales and antique stores.

Can't stand using ballpoints.
