This new air ambulance is enroute from the manufacturer to its home in Boise, ID, and made a fueling stop. The local crew of the Vanderbilt Hospital medevac station had to look it over. I even include a senorita at work. The crew obligingly opened up access doors for the locals to get a good look at the new Bell, which is quite different from the equipment that they operate. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Interested+Observers.jpg.html The local airport attendant fueled the chopper from the fuel truck, assisted by her boss. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Fueling.jpg.html The last image includes the main rotor hub, and, just above the windshield centerpost, a cable cutter. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Rotor+Hub+and+Cable+Cutter.jpg.html Olympus E-1 with Zuiko Digital 35mm 3.5 Macro Comments and critiques welcomed.
