Now that I'm back and have some time I've moved the image files and .lrcat to the desktop via a thumb drive and I see the changes I made to certain files on the laptop now appear on them on the desktop, including post processing and stars, but NOT the flag that indicates 'pick'. Since I wasn't able to do a lot of shooting &/or editing on this trip this is no big deal, but I'll want to figure it out before I travel again.
