I heard almost the same joke, except that it was a woman who admired a
Chinese sign in a window so much that she had it embroidered on the front of
her favorite dress. She wore the dress everywhere for years. Finally she had
a Chinese friend translate the sign for her. His reply "The taste is good
and the price is cheap."
