But I didn't bring my 90 finder which I'd already got ahead of time from Photo Village. So I walked around Rochester Sunday afternoon with my 50 finder using my imagination to picture a smaller frame line in my minds eye using suspension of disbelief. They all "came out" just like I willed them to. Some day I'll scan it with my scanner this is a low end bulk scan for the interim. Its in this category 1459001 1465000 Elmar 90 mm 1:40 (M-collapsible.M+S-rigid) 1957 6000 of them made. Its the rigid. Erwin says everything gets cleaned up by f8. Its a triplet just like the 30's version only the glass choices had been improved. And yes the performance is quoted at low to medium until you get to f8. Here's the lens in my hand http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_QomDizboK-A/SFx0L0ALqTI/AAAAAAAAAXI/Bfgdeys30NY/s4 00/15.jpg Or http://tinyurl.com/3uf9os4 I see it every time I search engine myself. Its on this blog http://elrectanguloenlamano.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html What's cool about this lens is I can just get an adaptor and use in on an M film body or someday digital. And get its indelible fingerprint. As an option to using my current 90's. Which don't have no fingerprints. Somebody got some Windex. I just unscrewed the head for the first time. Looks like an enlarger head and will fit my Viso I'm sure with the same deal I use my 135 f4.5 Hektor head. Its way smaller than the 135 head I think. Mark William Rabiner
