try intermediate speeds? this one is not as sharp, I mean the body of  
the bird , yet the movement of the wings is fine by my phuzzilllogis  
tastes ;-)

I love those birds, never seen one in my other real life :-)

Hi Philippe,
I think 1/400 or 1/500 may be the right compromise speed.
In this one only the head and eye are steady (which I like)
but you are right, the tail is also moving quickly and fuzzy.
Fortunately they keep coming back so I can experiment
a little more. Thanks for your continuing comments.
