Camera is a user in very good condition. According to the serial number the body dates from 1951. There is a bit of very slight pitting of the chrome plating on the top plate. A very small cosmetic dent/scratch is right above the rangefinder eyepiece. None of these issues affects performance of the camera. The body was serviced by Youxin Ye in Boston a few months ago. Youxin replaced the shutter curtains, replaced the beamsplitter in the rangefinder with a new one and CLA'd the body. It's in top shape now for a user Leica Barnack body. The shutter is a bit louder than other screwmount Leicas but it's not obviously noisy. $400 (body only) Also for sale is a 50mm f/2.8 Elmar collapsible Leica thread mount lens. The elements are scratch and coating mark free. This is a blue-coated lens dating from about 1957. The glass is very clear but has some dust and a few small spots internally. The mechanical collapsing barrel locks into place very securely with no play in the optical group. Cosmetically, the lens is in excellent condition. No brassing or scratches anywhere on the chrome. This is an excellent all-round lens that still delivers outstanding images today. $300 (lens only) $675 takes both camera and lens, shipping included. I prefer local sales in the Philadelphia area. I will ship to the continental US. Outside CONUS, buyer pays shipping and insurance fees. Photos available later upon request. Thanks all, Phil Forrest
