Two things (at least) I just don't get: 1.Why a soft release is needed on a
Leica M, when it has the most exquisite, gentle and predictable shutter
release (that I've ever used); and 2. How a camera as expensive as an M9 can
be designed, developed and sold without an ergonomic thumb rest to help hold
the camera securely. Even one of the old M4 wind levers could have been
fitted, with the only movement the folding action of the original.
