"Forever" was a female Golden, IIRC suffering major vision loss from
poisoning.? She was the inspiration and first resident for Last Chance
Forever, a raptor rehabilitation program run by John Karger out of San
Antonio.? She was one of the educational birds which he demonstrated at the
Texas Renaissance Festival in the 1980s.

Forever was a wild-born bird who was brought into rehabilitation as an
adult, and was eventually released back into the wild after a combination of
medical treatments

Canon F1, 200/2.8 BL, Fuji 50, exposure somewhere around 1/60 wide open.
