Certainly when we consider the art of "painting" we tend to expect the use of color. When we think of Ric Carter or or Doug Herr photographs we expect color. When I think of your photographs I expect either color or B&W; and generally find your black and white photographs more powerful and memorable. The only point I wish to make is that the choice is subjective and aesthetic for both creator and viewer.
