Since filmmakers have taken to the SLR's video mode, they also have a need 
for (gasp) prime lenses that can be focused exactly.

Zeiss offers a suitcase filled with prime lenses ready for Canon and Nikon 
DSLRs.

Of course if you just take still photos you can still use these! (amazingly 
enough)
